Jennifer Sandoval, a graduate student-athlete for Azusa Pacific, placed second in the 10,000-meter final in 34:05.83 and fourth in the 5,000 in 16:11.31 at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State's Track and Field Stadium in Allendale, Mich. Sandoval's performance in the 5,000 helped the Cougars clinch their first Division 2 team title in program history with 81 points, following NAIA championships in 2003, 2004, 2007 and 2010, along with a National Christian College Athletic Association crown in 2013.
