Bailey Sharon, a senior at Western Colorado, ran a personal-best 2:04.23 to win the women's 800-meter crown at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State's Track and Field Stadium in Allendale, Mich. Sharon secured the first 800 crown for Western Colorado after contributing to an indoor distance medley relay championship in 2018. Sharon also ran the anchor leg with a 54.30 split for Western Colorado, which placed fifth overall in the 4x400 relay in 3:44.54.
