Candesha Scott of Texas A&M Commerce, representing Grenada, won the women's javelin throw title with a first-round performance of 179-10 (54.82m) at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Scott elevated to the No. 3 competitior in division history.
