Taylor Nelloms, a freshman at West Texas A&M, won the women's triple jump crown with a wind-aided effort of 43-7.25 (13.29m) in the fourth round at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State's Track and Field Stadium in Allendale, Mich. Nelloms became the first female athlete since Rellie Kaputin of West Texas A&M in 2017 to sweep both indoor and outdoor triple jump championships in the same year.
