Ralph Casper, a senior at West Chester (Pennsylvania), won the men's shot put title with a fifth-round mark of 63-2.75 (19.27m) at the NCAA Division 2 Championships in Pueblo, Colo. Casper rallied from sixth place following four rounds to secure his second career title, the other coming at the 2021 indoor final representing Tiffin. Casper, who placed second at the Division 2 indoor shot put final March 11 in Virginia Beach, also finished fifth in the discus throw final with a third-round effort of 177-5 (54.09m).
