Azusa Pacific senior Jaylah Walker and sophomore Alayna Verner helped the Cougars capture their second women's team title in three years with 66 points at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. Walker won her second 400-meter hurdles crown in three years, clocking 57.61 seconds, along with finishing fourth in the 100-meter hurdles final in a wind-aided 13.32 seconds. Verner secured second in the 400-meter final in 52.78 seconds, in addition to both her and Walker contributing to a runner-up finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:34.48, as well as a fourth-place performance in the 4x100-meter relay in 44.72 seconds.
